We are delighted to be joined by The Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Secretary of State for International Trade, for our Summer Drinks Reception.

Find out more about life as the President of the Board of the Trade, why we need to dual the A1 and how it feels like for your son to say that he wouldn’t have voted for her if he had been old enough to vote.

Tickets cost £40 with reduced price tickets available for Young Conservatives (Under-26). You don’t need to be a member of the Conservative Party or the Westminster North Conservative Association to attend.

Wine, soft drinks and canapés will be served. A raffle will be available on the night including signed prizes from Anne-Marie herself.

Venue details will be sent to those who have purchased tickets 24 hours before the event.

 

About Anne-Marie Trevelyan

Anne-Marie Trevelyan was first elected MP for the Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency at the 2015 general election and lives in the constituency with her family.

Until September 2020, Anne-Marie was Secretary of State for International Development, tasked with overseeing the UK’s contribution to international aid and development delivers the best results, transforming the lives of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people, while promoting Britain’s economic and security interests. In September 2021, Anne-Marie was promoted back to the Cabinet as Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade.

Her wider interests involve spending time with her family, making the most of the incredible landscape her vast and varied constituency affords and putting her passion for singing to good use by taking part in Singing for Syrians concerts in Westminster.
